The PSSHP started extensive renovation projects at the University Hospital in Kuopio. In support of the renewal projects, the PSSHP chose Modelspace software to centralize planning information in one place and to ensure the flow of information between the various project partners.

Modelspace was introduced in Central Finland's central hospital project, after the planning phase had already begun. Harmonization of the spatial data in the Modelspace software supported the progress of the planning phase. Since the construction project has begun, the software has become an important tool for all of the project partners.
